Our Creative Director meets so many inspiring, creative women on her travels & wanted to share their stories to help ignite your love for all the good things in life. This caffeine driven, lover of all things fine & (most importantly) friend of BOSKEMPER, is the Sydney-sider we just had to get a minute with. Busy working full time in fashion & studying on the side, Charley always manages to be looking fab, while juggling 10 things at once… which makes her one hell of a women to look up to.

Nickname?
…Is it super lame I don’t really have a nickname? But I’ve heard Cha Chi, Charlesworth, Charlz & Chaz.

5 things you can’t live without?
1. My Hairbrush
2. My AM + PM skincare regime; it’s serious business. I love The Ordinary products!

What is on your bed side table?
Diptyque candle, Dinosaur Designs vase, Estee Lauder Night Repair Range & a little something I once made in pottery class to remind myself I am not very good at pottery.

How would you describe your style?
I do not feel confident unless I am comfortable. I find myself always gravitating towards a good structured blazer & wide leg pant. You can’t go wrong with a polished, tailored look. I believe in investing in wardrobe staples for everyday wear but love to have fun with a statement dress for a fun event.

What did you dream of becoming when you were a little girl?
If I wasn’t going to become a psychologist, I wanted to work within the fashion industry. It’s such a fun, creative world. I recently made the decision to go back & complete my Post Graduate Studies whilst working full-time. I like to challenge myself & always think it’s important to broaden your skillset.

Fragrance?
 Christian Dior Addict, the original in the blue bottle or Narciso Rodriguez ‘For Her’

Drink of choice?
 I fell in love with Prosecco when I lived in London but to keep it classy I’ll go with a Negroni.

Favourite place to have a coffee?
Bootsdarling, my local coffee shop.

What do you love most about your city?
I love that Sydney has so much to offer; whether it’s going for a sunset swim during summer, hiking & camping around the national parks on weekends or enjoying the cafes in my local area, there is always something to do.

Best hidden gem in Sydney?
Dumpling & Noodle House in Potts Points for THE best dumplings, The Baxter Inn for a cheeky Amaretto Sour, Parsley Bay for a dip & Jacoby’s Tiki Bar in Enmore.
